To Blog or Not to Blog… That should NOT be the Question
For those of you not familiar with the term blog… just go to “Google Blog Search” http://blogsearch.google.com/ and search for your favorite food, sports team, car, etc. You will realize that everybody is doing it, well why aren’t you?
Remember when you were a kid and you wrote in your journal every night about what happened that day at school? Well this is the same concept, except this time you get to talk about your own expertise. You get to express your opinions, and if you are lucky other people will see them and comment back. For those of us who are very opinionated (myself included), blogging is an amazing way to help blow off some steam, and express my views.
A blog will help you in your field, it will help you verbalize your thoughts and reach out to those that share and even refute your ideas. Who doesn’t like a good argument based around topic you believe you are an expert in? Want to know the real reason why you need to blog? You will help increase your organic search results with a regularly updated blog. Google’s algorithms love blogs, that is because they love content that is updated regularly.
